what Bagworms look like as
well as the damage they can
cause.
Crabgrass Control
The Spring of 2008 will be a new season in which additional crabgrass control
treatments will be needed.  Heritage Lawn and Landscape can prevent Crabgrass
almost entirely.  The one way to do this is to include at least two treatments during
the Spring.  One of these treatments should be timed early in the Spring and then
another treatment in the late Spring.  We believe that this can prevent up to 95% or
more of all crabgrass.
Pest Control on Trees and Shrubs
The best time to control certain pests is early in the Spring 2008.  We can do a few
different treatment options to control insects such as Lacebugs, Japanese
Beetles, and some scale insects.  We can best prevent your landscape from
being attacked by these insects by recommending a soil injection of a systemic
treatment and even an additional spray treatment.  By using the combination
treatment you stand a much better chance at successfully eliminating these pests
from your landscape.

Lawn Fertilization
The Spring is an excellent time to fertilize your lawn due to it just starting to recover
from a long, cold winter.  It is especially important if no fertilization was completed in
the Fall of 2007. Fertilization early in the Spring will greatly benefit your lawn for the
long term.  It will enhance the lawn's ability to thrive even throughout the tough
summer time droughts that may occur.  Strength and stability will be added to your
lawn due to an early Spring 2008 fertilization.
Off-Season Pruning
We work in cooperation with American Tree Experts to provide tree pruning and
removal services.  Pruning during the winter months can sometimes be
necessary due to heavy ice storms or other damages due to winter storms.
Although the Winter is usually our off-season, we can complete pruning
operations during this time.
New for 2008! Irrigation Services

your lawn and landscape. This will be an extension of our already existing lawn

of your lawn and landscape. We will be looking to promote the wise use of water
also.  As always, we will be trying to educate our customers with this new line of

service will add curb appeal to your property.
New for 2008! Services for Rain Gardens
We will be offering Rain Garden (Ryperian Buffers) Services. This service will
enable us to be able to better serve you by aiding you in managing water runoff in
a garden or a designed landscape.  We will focus our attention on designing and
